Hi, I’m Adwoa. Do not worry if you are not sure how to pronounce my name. It’s totally fine. I was born and raised in Ghana and in my tribe every child has day/soul name. My name Adwoa means i was born on a monday and therefore my soul is tied to the moon. Interesting right?

I moved to Italy in 2009 and that change has been the most intense shift to my life ever. I started this blog because i want to share more about myself, my culture and experiences. I am in fact on a journey. A journey to rediscovering my self – a soul search and which not only benefits me but everyone who can read. Part of the things i like to do is write about my experiences as an Akan girl navigating the worlds around her and living her purpose.
